Step-by-Step Guide
Follow these steps to permanently delete your Daily Standard account from within the app.
Tap the hamburger menu icon located in the top left corner of the app to open the side navigation.
From the side menu, tap on Settings to access your account and app preferences.
Scroll to the bottom of Settings. If you are using the app as a guest the button says Delete my data; if you are signed in it says Delete your account.
Tap the button. A confirmation prompt will appear asking you to verify your decision.
Confirm when prompted. Your sign-in account is deleted straight away, your data on our servers is then permanently deleted by an automatic process, and the app starts again as a new guest.
Important: Deletion is permanent. Cancel any active subscriptions through the App Store or Google Play separately before deleting.
Can't Access the App?
If you cannot use the app, email founder@dailystandard.io from the address linked to your account, or tell us how to identify your guest account, and we will delete your data for you. What is deleted, what is kept and for how long is set out on our deletion page.
